i only have 1.5 more days in pa before I'm back to my regular stuff

its been...something to watch someone watch her dad slowly die.

I started playing a new video game and relaunched my portfolio site and made new friends and connected to old ones for a Passover seder.


i kept opening dreamwidth on my phone to write something but its not good mobile :( so then I wound forget before I got to my computer which is also how I missed a window to get a covid shot Even though I was sitting in front of my open computer.

In the seder i attended i was made the wise child because I was in the Jewish community the longest and its always wild to remember that I know things about things.

also nice to see another black jewish person I know personally.

Anyways Genshin impact is fun because I don't have to play with other people but I could, if I wanted to.

Now I'm absolutely rambling.

I've never done long form posting or journalling so I'm here now and what's on my mind is that I want to join people in these new fandoms but they are all like romance based and gosh I just can't do it.

like the cql/mzds was fine the politics was interesting but like way to much longing gazing. I might do the movie one cause its short but I can't bring my self to care about romance stories and it feels really alienating right now!

I'm experiencing the human condition a little to the left of everyone I talk to and it sucks.

I don't like romance and I like talking about politics (real and fake) and it's just makes watching what ever new media is the new fandom a slog unless the romance is imposed on it by fandom

like my original fandom naruto which had romance but so badly it might as well not been there.
